 Scott Snyder and James Tynion IV have
working on DC comics together for over a decade but in 2020 they will work
separately. The current Justice Doom War is coming to a close and that will end
their tenure on Justice League. The end of the arc will connect with Justice
League Dark and the Year of the Villain: Hell Arisen miniseries, which is
connected with The Batman Who Laughs. What we have seen in Justice League has
been planned out since Dark Nights: Metal. And when they took on Justice League
they wanted to tell a Luthor, Martian Manhunter and Hawkgirl story. All have a
different world view. Manhunter believes that everything needs to be connected;
Luthor is the polar opposite who believes only in his own self interests and
since Kendra has lived multiple lives she believes that there are no right and
wrong answers.
