Forty athletes showed up at the WWE Performance
Center in Orlando, Florida for a tryout. Talent present included: former Lucha
Underground’s Ivelisse Velez; Lance Anoa'i, Samu's son and a member of the
Anoa'i dynasty. Velez was recently released from Lucha Underground last month
and was formerly with WWE developmental from 2011-2012 after appearing on the
2011 edition of Tough Enough. Anoa'i has been working at MLW over the past 13

Markis Jones, pro football player Chris Martin, who played for the Alliance of
American Football; female volleyball Jana Angel; Portland veteran Maritza Ayala;
former Brazilian Jui-Jitsui fighter Nick Rodriguez; fitness model and former
world bodybuilding champion Stephanie Ayala; volleyball player Andrea Benoit,
aka NOVA on the independent wrestling scene; former Division I basketball player
Jade Cargill of Atlanta; Billy Gunn trainee Kristopher Craig; Olympic weight
lifter Michael Delbrey; two massive brothers Donovan and Leandro Dongo,; three
