DUGGAN HAS CABLE

In March Gerry Duggan and Phil Noto will launch a new Cable ongoing but the book will star teen Cable who also serves as Krakoa's youth leader. He is meant to guide the young people on the island towards finding their own paths and to keep them safe. Duggan says that Nate Grey will have a unique relationship to his parents due to him living in the present day. His older self didn’t have that at all. And he has a different position with the other mutants since being youth leader means he takes young mutants on missions to see if they can hang with the adults. Duggan’s first two issues will set the tone for the series with the introduction of a major threat and a mystery that has to be solved. Duggan will have fun with the fact that Five-in-One happens to be his girlfriend so he has five girlfriends, more or less. He also had Noto decide who was going to be in the supporting cast so we will see Armor, Pixie and others as the series goes on. Duggan will also explore sections of Krakoa that haven’t been seen yet; one of which is the new home of Silver Samurai. But if you are looking for Deadpool to show up Duggan has no plans for that happening anytime soon.
