X-Force is Back With a Young Mutant and Old Cyborg in Charge

The original X-Force is back but their mission has changed. The original team was led by Cable but this new team is led by Cable to hunt down Cable. In Ed Brisson and Pepe Larraz’s Extermination series Cable was murdered by a younger version of himself. Brisson was offered an X-Force book while he was writing Extermination so he had a plan of continuing the story. He has always been a fan of the team so his run will be a combination of the original team and the team seen in the Rick Remender Uncanny X-Force run. So in #1 we saw Domino, Shatterstar, Cannonball and Warpath dealing with Cable’s death and then seeing Cable still alive. In the book the team will have questions about Kid Cable since he seemed to be prepared to start an international incident in the first issue. What he is doing will be revealed as the story moves on since to Kid Cable everything is black and white, right and wrong. Deathlok is with him when we meet due to his skill set and the fact that he does have a connection to X-Force. The main villain in the first arc is Constantin, the Transian head of military who hates mutants. He wants to use his troops to wipe out hundreds of mutants. The book will bring in classic X-Men and X-Force villains as time goes on and introduce more new ones.
