IV will be taking over Batman this January but since he has worked on Detective
Comics, Batman Eternal, and Batman & Robin Eternal it’s not as if he is new to
the character. This will be the first time he has told a story with Bruce Wayne
with him up front and center. The villains will be a main part of the stories he
will tell but he will not tell stories in the same way he told them in
Detective. He will return Gotham to the way it looked around the time if looked
after the Tim Burton Batman films and new versions of most of Batman’s wonderful
toys will debut.
