Khabib Nurmagomedov Is Picking and Choosing Whom He Will/Won't Fight

UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager told TMZ Sports that the lid is closed on a rematch with Conor McGregor. “The train has left him. We don’t want to talk about Conor. We don’t want to go through this Conor bulls–t again,” said Ali Abdelaziz. He told the reporter that the chances of a fight are at about 0.00 percent. Nurmagomedov recently defeated Dustin Poirier in the UFC 242 and unified his lightweight title with the interim belt that Poirier held. By right No. 1 contender Tony Ferguson should challenge for the UFC lightweight championship but Nurmagomedov wants to fight the now retired two-division UFC champion Georges St-Pierre. GSP has maintained that he will come out of retirement for that fight but UFC President Dana White has long said he doesn’t want to give St-Pierre a shot at another belt in a new weight class since GSP never defended the UFC middleweight title after taking it from Michael Bisping. But when asked recently about the fight White paused for a long time before simply answering, “Sure.”
