 2008's
Secret Invasion event began with the Skrull Empire's greatest feat and ended
with them losing in a spectacular fashion. In the new limited series Meet the
Skrulls from Robbie Thompson and Niko Henrichon will focus on a family of
Skrulls still living on Earth who have a plan to re-start the Human/Skrull war.
Thompson says the Warner family lives in Stamford, Connecticut. The parents are
Carl and Gloria and they have two kids, Madison and Alice. Since the events of
Secret Invasion they world is on high alert and Tony Stark has developed a
better way to spot and track Skrulls. So everywhere Skrulls go on Earth, they
can be spotted, especially when they use their shape-shifting power. The Warner
family has been given the mission to figure out how Stark came up with the tech
and if there is a way to get around it so they can take over Earth. Problem is
each member of the family has a different way to achieve that goal so there will
be friction. Madison wants to prove herself but Alice is unsure there is a point
to the mission at all since she likes being on Earth.
It all begins with the five issue mini-series MEET THE SKRULLS #1 which ships with
