 As
reported yesterday, this years Wrestlemania will be "one for the history books"
as it will feature taped matches from the Performance Center and various other
locations with no live audiences. The outbreak of Covid-19 has also affected
other wrestling promotions across the country. All of the independent shows that
were going to happen on Mania weekend have been postponed. Ring of Honor has
canceled all of their events through the end of May. UFC (which ran an empty
arena show recently) has pushed back their next three events and closed their
offices. Those shows were to have taken place in London, Columbus, and Portland.
UFC 249 is still on the books but UFC President Dana White isn’t sure about the
location. AEW Dynamite shows will take place from closed set locations but those
locations haven’t been revealed. Fans will also not get to see or experience
next month's NWA Crockett Cup event since they have suspended normal operations
until June as far as any live performances go.
