 When Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth signed 
long-term contracts for their roles in Marvel’s movies way back then the pay 
wasn’t that great. But that was then and since Avengers: Endgame is over THR 
posted an article going into their salaries for that film and potential future 
projects. Scarlett Johansson is going to clear about 20 million dollars for 
starring and producing the upcoming Black Widow. Hemsworth and Evans 
renegotiated their deals for Infinity War and Endgame, which got them $15-20 
million for each. Hemsworth added projects to his deal and so his salary will 
increase. Robert Downey Jr. made a deal with Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige 
that ended up getting him $5 million a day for three days’ work on Spider-Man: 
Homecoming and about $75 million for Avengers: Infinity War. All of the 
originals ended up with huge bonuses along with their original salaries. For the 
Disney+ TV series, actors Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Anthony Mackie 
(Falcon), Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier) and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) worked out 
deals separate from their existing contracts which pads their wallets even more. 
The deals signed with Chadwick Boseman and Benedict Cumberbatch have options for 
the next films in their franchises as do the stars of the Guardians of the 
Galaxy films but James Gunn says the team will look different at the end of the 
third film.
