AEW
has confirmed the name of it’s upcoming weekly television series, wait for
it...."All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite" will be the show's official name and it
will air live on TNT from 7pm-9pm Central Time in the US every Wednesday. The
news leaked out prior to the official announcement after cable companies in the
US began displaying the word “Dynamite” in their listings for the show. AEW
Dynamite’s premiere episode will take place at the Capital One Arena in
Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, October 2. Matches announced for the premiere
show include:
-Chris Jericho and two mystery partners vs Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks
-AEW Women’s Championship
-Nyla Rose vs Riho
-Cody Rhodes vs Sammy Guevara
-MJF vs Brandon Cutler
The first episode of "AEW Dymanite" goes head-to-head with WWE's NXT on the USA
Network. NXT announced that on that same night NXT's Shayna Baszler will be
defending her Women’s title against Candice LeRae. So yes, WWE is taking NXT
seriously and is positioned for a "Wednesday Night War"
