DC Gets Serious Trying to Capture the "Young Adult" Market

Even though DC has discontinued their Ink and Zoom Imprints for Young readers, they are still serious about capturing that market. To that end DC has announced 25 original graphic novels for young adult and middle grade readers. The titles will be released in 2020 and 2021 and include: Catwoman: Soulstealer (Louise Simonson and Samantha Dodge); Galaxy: The Prettiest Star (Jadzia Axelrod and Cait Zellers); House of El Book 1 (Claudia Gray and Eric Zawadzki); I Am Not Starfire (Mariko Tamaki); Mister Miracle (Varian Johnson); Nubia (L.L. McKinney and Robyn Smith); Swamp Thing (Maggie Stiefvater and Morgan Beem); Teen Titans: Beast Boy (Kami Garcia and Gabriel Picolo); Victor & Nora: A Mr. Freeze Story (Lauren Myracle and Isaac Goodhart); Whistle (E. Lockhart and Manuel Preitano); Wonder Woman: Tempest Tossed (Laurie Halse Anderson and Leila del Duca); You Brought Me the Ocean (Alex Sanchez and Julie Maroh); Zatanna: The Jewel of Gravesend (Alys Arden and Jacquelin De Leon); the previously-announced Superman Smashes the Klan; Amethyst: Princess of Gemworld (Shannon and Dean Hale); Batman and Robin…and Howard (Jeffrey Brown); DC Super Hero Girls (Amy Wolfram); Dear Super-Villains (Michael Northrop and Gustavo Duarte); Green Arrow: Stranded (Brendan Deneen and Caleb Hosalla); Indestructibles Book 1 (Ridley Pearson); Lois Lane (Grace Ellis and Brittney Williams); Metropolis Grove (Drew Brockington); Primer (Thomas Krajewski, Jennifer Muro and Gretel Lusky); Super Sons Book 3: Escape to Landis (Ridley Pearson and Ile Gonzalez); Teen Titans Go! to Camp (Sholly Fisch); Teen Titans Go! Roll with It (Heather Nuhfer and P.C. Morrissey) and The Mystery of the Meanest Teacher: A Johnny Constantine Graphic Novel (Ryan North and Derek Charm).
