 Bloodshot
is back with an all-new ongoing in September and he is being hunted by a
deep-state military unit known as the Black Bar. The new title will be written
by Tim Seeley with art from Flash’s Brett Booth. Seeley says he is going to run
with the fact that Ray Garrison is a high-tech Frankenstein's Monster and have
him face off against high-tech vampires, ghosts, and werewolves. Aside from
facing off against the Black Bar Seeley is going to introduce the Burned, a
movement of ex-spies who spy on the spymasters who they used to work for. Seeley
was actually asked to come up with a pitch for the series a year or so ago and
the fact that a movie was being made with the character pushed Valiant to get
him on the new series. Booth had been working exclusively with DC and was ready
for a change of scenery when he was asked to work with Seeley.
