New York Times reported that former UFC double champion Conor McGregor is under
investigation for a sexual assault that took place in Dublin in December of
2018. According to the story four people familiar with the investigation have
confirmed it, and the story was well known in Ireland. Irish laws do not allow
identifying individuals charged with rape until conviction. So the story says
McGregor was arrested in January, questioned at the time, and was then released.
A spokesman for McGregor says the story is old and itís suspicious it is now
coming out. McGregor does admit he had sex with the woman but she wanted to have
sex with him.
