and Mark Millar have announced the first films and television series from the
deal made to absorb Millarworld. Series plans include Jupiter’s Legacy and
American Jesus. Films based on Empress, Huck and the upcoming Sharkey the Bounty
Hunter limited series will join a film version of The Magic Order. The Jupiter’s
Legacy series will have Daredevil’s Steven S. DeKnight and has cast Hulk’s Eric
Bana and Gotham’s Morena Baccarin. American Jesus is being developed by Luke
Cage’s Everado Gout and his brother Leopoldo. The script for Empress is being
written by Lindsey Beer. Hidden Figures’ Ted Melfi is developing Huck. 21 Jump
Stret’s Michael Bacall is the man behind the adaptation of Sharkey the Bounty
Hunter. |
