 Lion Forge Comics were in the middle of an expansion.
They took over the comic book website "The Beat" in October. They brought in Greg Tumbarello from Legendary. Jeremy Atkins as Senior Publicist, Grace Bornhoft as
assistant editor, Madeline Roy as marketing associate and others. They hired
Gail Simone as showrunner for their Catalyst Prime line to tweak and improve it.
But things didn’t go the way they were expecting since Tumbarello and eleven
others were laid off by the publisher. Tumbarello was the person behind Simone
coming in and now he’s gone. Thing's are not looking very positive right now
with them. |
