 The
Dell Comics hero Turok will return in January in an all new Dynamite ongoing
from Ron Marz and Roberto Castro. The premise is the same-Turok chases after
U.S. cavalrymen who have kidnapped his brother and then they all get sent to a
strange world with dinosaurs and more. Marz, had written Turok when the rights
to the character were at Valiant in the 1990s during his X-O Manowar run but he
didn’t do much with him. The book will be new reader friendly but fans of the
multiple other series will see nods to what has gone on before. In the series
Turok and his brother will be hunted by the soldiers who have to figure out if
that makes sense but there is also bounty hunter after his for unknown reasons.
The series will make Turok a member of the Kiowa tribe. Dynamite’s Red Sonja
ongoing will be also be relaunched in February from the team of Flintstones’
Mark Russell and Conan’s Mirko Colak. (Credit multiple sources)
