Both The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead have generated news over the last month, here's what you may have missed. The Walking Dead Season 9 takes place a year after the end of Season 8. There will be a team in D.C. looking for tools and supplies. The new community Toledo will be introduced and they will be the nemesis of the season. The leader of the trash people, Jadis has fully integrated somewhere and is happy. There will be major tension between Rick, Maggie and Darryl since Negan is still in prison. Andrew Lincoln did confirm his departure but didn’t say if Rick was going to die because he said his relationship with Mr. Grimes is far from over. New characters seen in the upcoming season are: Earl the Blacksmith, Tammy Rose (played by Brett Butler) saviors members Jed and Justin (Rhys Coiro and Zack McGowan), Fantastic Beasts’ Dan Fogler and Samantha Morton as Alpha, the leader of the Whisperers. And yes, the helicopter will be seen again in the new season. Over on Fear the entire cast will have to deal with a tornado that is throwing walkers at the cast. The season will revolve around Charlie, Lucia, Alicia, Naomi and Althea but comedian Mo Collins, Aaron Stanford, Stephen Henderson and Daryl Chill Mitchell will join the cast. Strand will end up in a mansion with a wine cellar. Danay Garcia related a story of her needing temporary checks and going to a bank in her costume and makeup. She showed the teller her ID and the teller said she had to call her supervisor. The teller ended up asking what show she was on and when Garcia told her Fear the teller responded, "That’s in Georgia."
