FINALLY A SEQUEL Posted: 081018
After multiple starts and stops Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Abigail Breslin and director Ruben Fleischer are all in on the sequel to Zombieland at Sony Pictures. The film will be written by original writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese. With the script ready filing is set for January with the plan for it to be out by October 2019. Scheduling issues among other problems have plagued the sequel that cost less than $24 million but made $102.3 million worldwide and a killing on home video. The sequel sends the four go from the White House to the American heartland as they face off against new versions of the zombies that have evolved since the first film.
