will mark the debut of Dan Slott and Sara Pichelli’s Fantastic Four. The
Richards family has been off exploring new worlds and dimensions but will
finally return to Earth. Johnny Storm, Ben Grimm and Doctor Doom have been
looking for them in Marvel 2-In-One. Slott has been a fan of the FF forever and
so he was the man chosen by Marvel to bring them back. The series will connect
loosely to 2-In-One but you will not have to pick up both books to keep up. The
team’s adventures post Secret Wars in another section of the Multiverse will be
hinted at from time to time. Fans will get to see Reed and Sue’s children,
Franklin and Valeria get codenames. And the fact that Slott sold off the Baxter
Building in Amazing Spider-Man will be dealt with since the team will have to
find a new home. Doctor Doom’s connection with the team will be set up in FF #1
drawn by Simone Bianchi. Also included in the first issue is a Skottie Young
story. The supporting cast will include Alicia Masters, Willie Lumpkin, and
Wyatt Wingfoot. In the first arc we will meet new villains. The book will get an
oversized issue in December hinted at in #1.
