 The character breakdowns from HBO’s upcoming series
take on Alan Moore’s Watchmen don’t include any of the characters seen in the
movie or comic. They are all non powered people including a married
African-American female cop and her husband; an interrogator and behavioral
scientist, a bisexual cop and others. Showrunner Damon Lindelof says he wasn’t
interested in a direct adaptation of the comic and says the show will be more
like Fargo, which exists in the same universe. He’s going to use the same world
for the late 2019 series. The cast list as of this moment includes: Regina King,
Don Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Adelaide Clemens, and Andrew
Howard. |
