Avengers:
Infinity War has already made over a billion dollars and fans are anxious to
learn what Avengers 4 is going to be named (it’s not Infinity Gauntlet) and when
Marvel is going to announce Phase 4. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige says
after Avengers 4 opens then they will reveal the Phase 4 films that start with
Spider-Man Homecoming 2, which will not have Matt Damon as the villain and takes
place in multiple countries. So in 2019 Marvel will announce everything at
Comic-Con. One possible film may be The Eternals and there is major development
on a Black Widow solo film but Feige says the Disney/Fox deal doesn’t
complicates plans for Phase 4 but an X-Men film isn’t going to happen right away
so don’t expect them until Phase 5, which may start in 2025. From the looks of
it the last Phase 4 film is the currently shooting Captain Marvel film with Brie
Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Clark Gregg, Jude Law and Rogue One’s Ben Mendelsohn
as the villain. There is also a rumor that instead of appearing in Guardians of
the Galaxy Vol. 3 Adam Warlock will show up in a much later film. James Gunn has
made it clear multiple times Warlock will not be in Avengers 4. And in other
Marvel news Chris Hemsworth is willing to sign a new contract and Chris Evans is
wavering on returning. |
