 The
end of Dark Nights: Metal leads into the weekly Justice League: No Justice
limited series that will break the Teen Titans and Justice League into four
separate teams. One team is led by Wonder Woman and it’s made up of magic users;
Superman leads a team made up of aliens; Barry Allen leads a team of
science-based heroes and Batman leads a team of some of the criminal characters
of the DCU but has Beast Boy as a member. The four-part weekly series will
co-written by Scott Snyder, Joshua Williamson, and James Tynion IV with art from
Francis Manapul and Marcus To starting this May. Tynion says the limited series
came together organically and readers will not be able to figure out who wrote a
specific part. Each team is designed to take care of a specific villain and the
members are chosen by Brainiac who could care less if they aren’t likely
teammates. This will lead to different relationships between some of the members
in the future. And while the teams are out into space it will be up to Amanda
Waller and Green Arrow to defend the Earth. Now you would think since No Justice
does mostly take place in space the Green Lantern Corps would be involved but
for reasons that will be explained in the story they will not be. And when no
Justice is over then DC will relaunch the Justice League. Scott Snyder will
write the bi-weekly Justice League book with art from Super Sons’ Jorge Jimenez
and Jim Cheung. Snyder’s team will consist of: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman,
Aquaman, The Flash, Cyborg, Martian Manhunter, Hawkgirl and Green Lantern John
Stewart. The book will have the team fighting against the battle against seven
evil Batmen from the Dark Multiverse. Snyder will be bringing back the Hall of
Justice and the Legion of Doom during his run. The other new Justice League
books are: Justice League Dark and Justice League Odyssey. Justice League Dark
by James Tynion IV, Alvaro Lopez, Raul Fernandez, and Brad Anderson will see
Wonder Woman lead a team including Detective Chimp, Zatanna, Man-Bat, Swamp
Thing, and Zatanna. Justice League Odyssey from Josh Williamson and Stjepan
Sejic will have a team of Darkseid, Cyborg, Starfire, Azrael, and Green Lantern
Jessica Cruz.
