The
WWE held a tryout in Manchester, England for 28 UK based talents. The tryouts
were overseen by William Regal and WWE Performance Center Coach Robbie
Brookside. Talent invited included: 11 year veteran Andrew Inch, the 21-year-old
Omari Hockel, eight time British wrestling champion Chinu Sandhu, the seven foot
and 300 pound giant Tosan Adeogun, the tag team of Jackie Polo and Mark Coffey,
the 12-year veteran Iestyn John Rees, the fire eating female wrestler Donna
Dale, 24-year-old Chris Wareing, a junior heavyweight, Jason Melrose, female
wrestler Samantha Hunter, Revolution Pro’s Eddie Dennis, current FutureShock
champion Ashton Smith, “Screwface” James Ahmed, Scottish high-flyer Alan Niddrie,
the 6-foot-9, 285-pound Charlie Spooner, kickboxer Courtney Stewart, the Ugandan
Wesley James Male, kickboxer Colin George, former bodybuilder Kevin Lloyd,
Scottish veteran Michael Chase, eight-year veteran Nicky Griffin, cruiserweight
Danny Duggan, the 23-year-old Samuel Stoker, PROGRESS Wrestling’s Ryan Camerford,
MMA fighter Jake Constantinou, female talent Folakemi Lawal (aka “Voodoo Queen”
Amarah) and former ICW women’s champion Kelly Robinson. All will be signed if
they impress Regal and Brookside in a move to sign international talent for NXT
or a possible British promotion. |
