Kurt Busiek and John Paul Leon are teaming on a companion series to Busiek’s
Superman: Secret Identity called Batman: Creature of the Night. The limited
series will star Bruce Wainwright, a comic book-reading kid obsessed with
Batman…John Romita Jr. says his and Frank Miller’s Superman: Year One GN will be
about 100 pages…Bryan Hitch will be leaving Justice League…the next arc of
Batman will be drawn by Lady Killer’s Joelle Jones and show the aftermath of
Batman proposing to Selina Kyle. The arc will send Batman away from Gotham on a
quest…All-Star Batman #14 has been pushed back three weeks until 10/4. It will
be the last issue of the series…co-creator Tony Isabella will return to Black
Lightning for the first time in decades for the limited series Black Lightning:
Cold Dead Hands. The six-issue limited series will be drawn by Clayton Henry…a
long time ago DC announced a series called Mystic U but it never shipped. The
idea has been renamed Mystik U and is from Alisa Kwitney and Mike Norton. The
four-issue prestige series will take Zatanna, Sebastian Faust, the Enchantress,
Sargon the Sorcerer and a new character called Pia Morales. It will have then
all attend a school for magic |
