As
a habit the WWE holds tryouts at the Performance Center to search for new
talent. Some have wrestled elsewhere, some have had success in other fields and
some just have the look at what the WWE is searching for. At the latest set of
tryouts the following showed up to see if the WWE wanted them. It was a
three-day camp, led by Head Coach Matt Bloom and his coaching staff and involved
prospects from the United States, American Samoa, Canada, New Zealand and
Germany. Current WWE developmental talents Lacey Evans, Dan Matha, Bianca Blair,
Adrian Jaoude and others were there to help with the drills. The prospects at
the camp included: Hunter McIntyre (the reigning champion of Steve Austin’s
Broken Skull Challenge show); former University of Georgia linebacker Amarlo
Herrera; Oregon State offensive tackle Noke Tago; bodybuilder Raynor Whitcombe;
NCAA heavyweight wrestler Denzel DeJournette; MMA fighter Nicolai Salchow;
CrossFit competitor Lindsey Kelly; independent wrestler Reginald Gibbs; Iowa
brothers Arthur and Josh Haug; powerlifter Nick Brewer; California state
wrestling champion Vernon Willis; Conneticut’s Andrew Cavanna; hip-hop’s Briana
