Miller’s 300 prequel Xerxes: The Fall of the House of Darius and the Rise of 
Alexander will be published in 2018 by Dark Horse…the last League of 
Extraordinary Gentlemen story now has a name and it’s The Tempest from Alan 
Moore and Kevin O’Neill. The six-issue limited series will ship from Top Shelf 
nest year…Jughead: The Hunger will become an ongoing series starting in October 
from Death of Archie artists Pat and Tim Kennedy and Frank Tieri…Dark Horse’s 
Black Hammer is getting a limited series spin-off called Sherlock Frankenstein & 
The Legion of Evil from Jeff Lemire and David Rubín. It will be the first of 
many limited series spinning out of Black Hammer…The Archies one-shot will 
become an ongoing series from the team of Alex Segura, Matt Rosenberg and Joe 
Eisma starting in October…the Ninja Turtles and Ghostbusters will crossover 
again in for a new weekly series from Erik Burnham, Tom Waltz and Dan Schoening 
in November…Batman & The Shadow will crossover again in a six-issue limited 
series from Steve Orlando and Giovanni Timpano…to celebrate the 55th anniversary 
of the character Dynamite will do a new Barbarella comics that will be written 
by Mike Carey…at the same time I will be in Las Vegas Image is releasing a 
limited series called Slots from writer/artist Dan Panosian. The series will 
follow an aging former boxer named Stanley Dance trying to redeem his life…Mike 
Mignola’s Hellboy universe will expand with three new projects: Rasputin: Voice 
of the Dragon (from Mignola, Chris Roberson and Christopher Mitten), the 
one-shot Hellboy: Krampusnacht (from Mignola and Adam Hughes) and Koshchei the 
Deathless (from Mignola and Ben Stenbeck. .  |
