Millar and an unnamed artist are doing a new Kingsman limited series that will
be out at the same time as Kingsman: The Golden Circle comes out in September…a
Bernie Wrightson Artifact Edition based on his DC artwork is coming from IDW in
October. IDW will also collect the Star Wars newspaper strips, a collection of
Steve Ditko’s Mr. A., a Forever People Artist Editon, a new Fantastic Four
Artist Editon from Jack Kirby, a new Thor edition by Walt Simonson and a 25th
Anniversary Madman Collection by Mike Allred…James Bond’s origin will be told in
a new Dynamite comic…Black Crown, IDW’s new creator-owned imprint under the
control of former Vertigo Editor Shelly Bond has announced their first title,
Peter Milligan and Tess Fowler’s Kid Lobotomy. The gothic series will be set in
a hotel…Bart Sears and Ron Marz will bring their Ominous Press imprint to IDW.
The line has announced the titles Dread Gods from Marz and Tom Raney, Sears’
Giantkillers and Demi-God from by Marz and Andy Smith…Titan Comics will revive
Jack Kirby and Joe Simon’s Fighting American. The creative team will be Gordon
Rennie and Duke Mighten…July will bring a Green Hornet/The Spirit crossover…Andy
Diggle and Luca Casalanguida will re-team on a six-issue James Bond: Kill Chain
limited series that puts MI6 against the CIA…Mike Mignola’s hiatus from comics
ends with an original graphic novel called Mr. Higgins Comes Home…IDW is doing a
Transformers/ GI Joe/Mask crossover called First Strike. |
