 Krampus’
Michael Dougherty and Zach Shields are writing the script for the Godzilla
sequel. Dougherty will direct the film as well since Gareth Edwards isn’t
returning for even though he had an idea for the sequel using Mechagodzilla. The
cast for the sequel so far includes Bates Motel’s Vera Farmiga, Stranger Things’
Millie Bobby Brown, Bloodline’s Kyle Chandler and maybe Ken Watanabe. Godzilla:
King of the Monsters will lead into Godzilla vs. King Kong. That film will get a
writer’s room of Pirates of the Caribbean’s Terry Rossio, Star Trek: Beyond’s
Patrick McKay and J.D. Payne, The Maze Runner’s T.S. Nowlin, J. Michael
Straczynski, Lindsey Beer and Cat Vasko. The team will come up with multiple
versions of the story that the studio can pick. |
