are a lot of current WWE stars who made names for themselves in Ring of Honor.
Rumors have the WWE and Ring of Honor owners Sinclair Broadcast Group working
out a potential buyout of ROH. Talks between the two began in January and if it
happens then the weekly Ring of Honor show would run on the WWE Network. It
isn’t clear if ROH talent would continue working for the company if the takeover
happens. The WWE really wants the tape library which features early matches from
the careers of WWE Superstars like AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, Seth Rollins, Samoa
Joe, Kevin Owens, Cesaro, Austin Aries and others. The WWE has sent out feeler
offers to other independent companies about buying them out. |
