Syfy is developing a Superman prequel series called Krypton
from David Goyer. The series will be set on Superman's home planet years before
he was born and center around Kal-El's grandfather. The cast includes: Game of
Thrones’ Ian McElhinney as Val-El; Da Vinci’s Demons’ Elliot Cowan as Daron Vex,
the Chief Magistrate of Kandor; World War Z’s Ann Ogbomo as Primus Alura Zod, a
leader of Krypton’s military guild; Your Highness’ Rasmus Hardiker, as Kem, an
engineer; The Royals’ Wallis Day as magistrate Nyssa Vex; Tennison’s Aaron
Pierre as Dev-Em’ Georgina Campbell as Lyta Zod and Cameron Cuffe as Superman’s
grandfather Seg-El. |
