Forbes has released their annual list of overpaid actors and Johnny Depp is the
repeat winner. The list only takes the last three films of each actor into
account and setting the cutoff at films released before July. This year’s Top
10: Johnny Depp, Will Smith, Channing Tatum, Will Ferrell, George Clooney, Adam
Sandler, Mark Wahlberg, Leonardo DiCaprio, Julia Roberts and Bradley Cooper.
Depp’s last three movies returned just $2.80 at the box office for every $1 he
was paid on them. Smith came in with $5 for every $1 but Suicide Squad’s numbers
aren’t included in the list. If the new Pirates of the Caribbean film is a hit
then Depp isn’t likely to repeat again. |
