Manowar will return in a new series from Matt Kindt and Conan’s Tomas Giorello.
Kindt will follow up on the events seen in X-O Manowar #50 which has Aric of
Dacia no longer using his armor. When the series begins Aric won’t even be on
Earth. He will be trying to work as a farmer and not use his armor which will be
a sentient being that reminds him of his past life. We will not see him put the
armor back on but the series will answer the question of whether the armor makes
Aric violent or is he already violent and the armor just gives him a reason to
use his aggression. The new series will be told in arcs; each one drawn by a
different artist. The first arc will be drawn by Giorello and he will be
followed by Mico Suayan, Clayton Crain, Doug Braithwaite and Ryan Bodenheim. |
