UFC middleweight fighter Josh Samman passed away on October 5th at the age of 28 in a hospital
in Hollywood, Fla. He was found unresponsive in his apartment next to his
roommate, Troy Kirkingburg, who was pronounced dead upon arrival at the
hospital. Samman was in a coma before he died. First indications were that he
died due to a drug overdose but his mother claimed that there was no heroin
found in her son’s system. The Broward County Medical Examiner’s office,
however, contradicts what his mother says. Samman’s friend, Troy Kirkingburg,
had heroin, cocaine, Xanax, and alcohol in his system when he died, the autopsy
revealed. They believe that both overdosed accidentally. Samman entered UFC with
The Ultimate Fighter 17 where he made the semifinals. |
