That's Twice His WWE Career Has Gone Down in Flames

Alberto Del Rio and the WWE have agreed to part ways. Already under suspension for failing the WWE's wellness policy,  his release means he can work anywhere in the world right now. Alberto hadn’t been happy with his situation in WWE for a while and his contract had an out clause which he triggered. He was never as over as his push and after his return he was hot then got ice cold with Zeb Colter and the lame League of Nations faction. With his release all eyes are now on his girlfriend, Paige (Saraya-Jade Bevis). Both were suspended at the same time and rumors have swirled about WWE trying to break up their relationship. They were sent to different shows in the draft and a story is out there that office liaison Mark Carrano approached both about their relationship being not looked well upon. There was a fight after a show in Las Vegas between the two of them that had been reported. Del Rio claimed that they were harassed by a fan but nothing came of it. Some believed that Paige was going to sue to get out of her contract and when Del Rio held a press conference in Mexico City she was there but didn’t sit at the table he was sitting at. He didn’t want to talk about why he failed the wellness test but it has been speculated that he failed because of the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) prescribed by his doctor. Paige has denied wanting to leave WWE and revealed that she failed the wellness policy because she wasn’t home when they came to test her. By not being there it’s considered a failure.
