The Renegades will return in a new Valiant ongoing called Harbinger Renegades
from Rafer Roberts and Darick Robertson. The new team won’t have the cover of
not being known since the world now knows that there are powered heroes out
there. In the last incarnation of the series the team took on Toro Harada and
lost spectacularly. Their attack on the Harbinger Foundation left one of them
dead and set off a world war. Since Harada's secrets are all now public his
information and technology is being used by a number of organizations. One such
group is The Solution and they are using their black-market tech to activate
more people and grafting power-granting machines into regular people's heads.
Faith has been fighting them on her own by now needs help so she needs a team to
help her. In #1 we will meet Jay Tucker, who has become the target of The
Solution and Project Rising Spirit. Roberts will reintroduce some characters in
his first arc but wants the book to be an ensemble piece. We will see Kris,
Torque and a more focused Peter in the series. |
